Today’s link comes from the University of Illinois: 4-H Volunteer E-courses. Several free courses are available to anyone who completes the brief registration process, including:
- Public Presentations: Plan, Prepare, Practice, and Present
- Working with Committees
- Parliamentary Procedure
- 4-H Club Program Planning
As a forewarning, some of these presentations include a few comments which are specific to Illinois 4-H (i.e. reference to several Illinois 4-H competitive events which don’t exist in Florida), but overall are very good. The Public Presentations session may be particularly good for volunteers who are assisting with preparing 4-H members for County and District Events presentation.
